For your landscaping, soil prep is very important in the success of the sod and establishing a lawn. Soil preparation can only be done once before laying your sod. Clear all weeds and debris from the area. We recommend a minimum depth of quality topsoil to be 2-4 inches prior to installation of sod. Level and grade the entire sod area. Soil should be graded to about one inch below the concrete. Water soil to allow proper settling of the ground and any trenches made prior to sod installation. Lightly rake soil before turf installation to allow proper contact between sod and soil. Make sure soil preparation is complete before your sod delivery arrives. Soil prep advice for 84025

Great Sod! I haven't found a single weed in over 9000 Sq Ft! We did run into some hiccups with getting the sod delivered but Sod King did everything they could to make up for it. I would recommend this company for sod.

Several neighbors and I purchased the King Silver Hybrid Sod. Sarah from SodKing was amazing to work with. Super fast responses, ultra knowledgeable, and very service-oriented. We are absolutely in awe at the quality of our sod received from Sod King. We ordered 4 pallets and out of all 4 pallets, only 3 pieces of sod were slightly less quality, and were still able to be used to fill in oddball spots. The Sod came with a beautiful dark green color and has kept that color after exactly 3 weeks and is absolutely thriving. I would recommend Sod King to anyone!

Laid around 3500 sq/ft of sod and it all looks fantastic. Even the tiny pieces I cut out to plant in a few bare areas around my already established grass grew in thick and green. I really liked Sod King and was happy I went with them.
